Christmas 2008 was again at home. The kids get up at 6 am, thank goodness.
The Wii was welcome to our home with excitement including Doug. Harrison of course got football and star wards stuff. This is the last year Harrison believes that Santa came to our house. Hailey got all kind of princess stuff, including a bike. I have to accept that Hailey's and Harrison's pile was bigger. Hunter and Hayden were happy to go what they wanted including money

Hancock

Hancock is our new puppy. He went to pick him up from a farm in Taos. His mom is a black poddle and his dad is a Golden retriever. He was 2 months when we got him. He is mellow active puppy.
After the kids asking for a dog for three years, I gave up. During the Summer I decided that I was ready to the challenge of getting a dog. The firs two months, I am willing to train and get Hancock into routine. The goal is that the boys will feed, clean after and play with Hancock.
Hancock is having fun in our large size grass. I hope this experience goes well.

First day to school 2008

Harrison had a quiet start at his 2nd/3er classroom. Most of his class mates were with him last year. I believe that he is gifted but never tested. He excels in every subject. The school is being providing challenge for him. Finally he accepted to take piano lesson. He made a new best friend from church that goes to the same school (Cooper).
Hayden starting 5th grade. He also is with classmates from last year. He is being with the same teacher three years in a row. He was placed in the 6th grade math group. Hayden has progress in reading, his class is planning to read challenging books this year. He'll continue piano lesson.
Hunter making the jump to middle school. He knew at least these three kids from the old schoold school. Hunter can wait to write stories or articles. He will have to adjust to have different teachers for each class. He will be taking private violin lesson at school.

Hunter is 12

Hunter turn 12 two weeks after Hayden, that means that I planned another party. I used to make one party for both but now, the boys want their own friends and style. I actually do not mind, party should be my last name.
Hunter decided to have boys and girls to a getting wet party, pizza and cake. He still is a little boy, but he is starting to have a tween actitude.

Tampa vacation

It was a long week vacation in Tampa. We went to the beach everyday. We all got so tan. In this picture Hayden found a death fish. He wish he could take it as a souvenir!!
My favorite part was that we had two side by side little apartments. The kids love to stay in their place, and of course for me and Doug had quiet time after long days in the beach and pool.
We went to a pirate boat, to a Bush Gardner's amusement park, and to a water park for a day. There were big slides and a wave pool. The best part was that it was no crowded.
I feel so bless to be able to take vacation with my hubby and kiddos. When I grow up I remember going once to a water park, the only vacation my parents took me. Whenever I see pictures of that vacation I still remember how fun was to be with my family all day doing fun stuff. I hope my kids keep all the memories in daily and vacation times we have because sure they are full of joy.

That first time we got to snowmobile was no a good day. There was storm that day, the snow was soft and too deep. There was a group of 8 snowmobile, some of the people we were with are the rescue team of the area in Colorado. I felt safe. Hayden got the chance to ride with one of them, he really had fun. President Sego ( who invited us for this event) had Hunter and Harrison. In one occasion the snowmobile turn up side down, but the snow was son soft and deep thet had a soft landing. Doug and I were in other and fall several times. It was a cold experience but unforgettable.

Hunter's camp

Hunter had so much fun in a camp with snow, scouts had been great for him because has helped him to developed skills and gain more confidence. His leaders give him responsibilities and he response good. Of course I was worry about the cold and more but I got to learn to let go. I have three boys who can wait to go camping with scouts.
